Nutrition Services for Early Childhood:
Nutrition Australia offers a two-hour course designed for early childhood staff, covering topics such as nutrition concerns and requirements for children and infants, the Australian Dietary Guidelines, nutrition policy, and food hygiene. This course can help facilities meet National Quality Standard requirements.
Menu Planning Guidelines for Long Day Care:
These guidelines, based on the Australian Dietary Guidelines and the "Get Up & Grow" resources, specify the minimum number of servings from each food group that should be provided to children aged 1–5 years in long day care settings. They also offer recommendations for feeding infants under 12 months.
